“You were completely invaluable during this process and helped an EXTRAORDINARY amount.”

New Hire Education and Development Trainer

2014

I was the lead developer in the Recent College Graduate (RCG) program, a three-phase intensive program designed to mold business professionals and develop emerging leaders over the span of 12 months. The following feedback was received from college graduates who participated in the program:

“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity that lies in front of me. Coming into the position, I knew this training program was strategically created to gear us toward success. This program has provided us so far with elaborate knowledge on all of our products, company history and goals, in addition to positioning us toward a long-term career.”  RCG participant, Lombard, IL

“The Recent College Graduate program has been an incredible experience. I’ve learned to put myself in the shoes of a small business owner focusing on their needs and what I can do to help them achieve their goals.” RCG participant, Maitland, FL

I was part of a team that established a new welcoming process. I contributed to the development of the Welcome Handbook and developed a Trainer Packet each month. The Trainer Packet included new hires’ photos and key information to help the trainers and leadership staff learn about the participants.

“Everything has been extremely well organized and all questions have been answered right away.

I have been here 28 years and this is by far the best organized and professional welcome that I have seen.

Kudos to all of you that have done all of the pre work to make this happen.” District Sales Manager

As part of a group design project, I was asked to add a visual component to already developed content. Specifically in response to the visual aspect of the project, the client provided the following feedback:

“Thank you for your fine work on helping us design our National Mobile Case Studies!  They are going to make a real difference in selling these. We really appreciate the amazing team work!” Senior Marketing Manager

2013

In 2013, my department was recognized by Training Magazine’s Top 125. Lorri Freifeld, editor-in-chief of Training magazine stated:

“Their close alignment between training and corporate strategic goals led to strong financial performance, increased employee engagement, and a learning-centric culture.”

Our Chief Executive Officer took the time to acknowledge this accomplishment:

“Congratulations to all!! The Sales Academy is recognized by investors, customers and competitors alike as a true differentiator, a game changer and source of sustainable competitive advantage. Well done.” Alfred Mockett, CEO

I was the lead developer on multiple social media initiatives. This included a number of launches such as a pilot, a company-wide summit, and final product launch. The following feedback was received throughout the three years I worked on the topic:

“This was my favorite training design I’ve seen this year for a Go To Market initiative: there was more built in interaction, quizzes along the way, a little sound, the videos are GREAT….It will keep product top of mind and provide reinforcement. The team was very engaged which is amazing…the timing couldn’t have been more perfect since social media was a headliner at the summit.”
Senior Manager, Field Strategy (2013)

“Really nice job on that! It gives a great overview on each of the social media products and how it relates not only to consumers but to business as well. I thought it was really good!” Director Initial Sales Training (2012)

“I just wanted to take a minute before things got too busy to let you know what a fantastic job Suzie has done partnering with us to create the training needed for the social media starter trial. She has been amazing to work with – she has offered great insight, focus, dedication, professionalism and has been a joy to work with on this. I especially appreciated her approach and attention to detail since this project required a very quick turnaround. I look forward to working with her again on the next project.”

Senior Product Manager (2011)

I was a key contributing developer on a company-wide initiative to launch a number of our
products as bundles. As a whole, the project received the following feedback:

“Homerun! It was a huge success. I have had at least 10 people come up to me and say it
was the best training they have gone through. I saw a rep use the Setting Expectations script
and recite part of it word for word to a customer they sold the bundle to. Thanks for the
hard work on this.”
Senior Manager

“I was also extremely excited about the training materials – the flow, exercises, lyrics/handouts,
and simplicity were “spot on” and an example of what I would consider an extremely successful
approach to how we launch products moving forward.”

As part of the second phase of redesigning our digital product courses for Initial Sales Training, I received the following feedback:

“Just wanted to send you a quick note telling you how much I enjoyed the addition of the simulations in the revised digital product training courses. Was actually challenging and kept me really engaged…Overall, I think your eLTs are just outstanding! Your newest versions are so complete and so well designed, I could learn nearly 100% of what I need to know in terms of product knowledge (short of order entry/fulfillment) by just reviewing these modules.” Director Sales Training and Development

“Thanks for all your work and effort…You have made a big difference many times! Thanks for all the great work you have been doing transforming how we train our people!” Vice President Sales Training and Development

I played a lead role in developing and delivering content about how to use the WebEx Training Center environment and tools. This training was delivered to New Hire Education and Development trainers. In response to the program, one trainer took the time to provide the following feedback:

“I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of you for the last few days. I can only imagine the effort and hard work that went into putting all of this together. I just wanted to let you know that that there were so many things I learned pertaining to WebEx with which I can walk away - ideas that I can't wait to put into use!! And as we tweak some of the new training materials, I look forward to presenting and facilitating new pieces. This whole process is one of which I am so excited to be a part of as we train our rookies!! Thank you all so much again - I so appreciate all of your help with the new and exciting steps moving forward.”

The following feedback was received as a result of three workshops to reinforce the significance and value of the sales model and how to effectively apply it in a selling environment as well as a number of product launches. The project included implementing a blended learning solution for the first time. Feedback from field managers regarding the program included:

“The reps absolutely LOVED the eLearning training modules.” Des Moines Field Sales Training Manager

“District Sales Managers felt new blended training model was effective, thorough, and efficient in minimizing time away from the job.” Nebraska/Sioux Falls Field Sales Training Manager

“Training has been VERY well received – MC engagement reported as better.” East Region Field District Manager

“Very positive feedback on self-paced eLearning – like that they can keep copies to review as refresher.” Nebraska/Sioux Falls Field Sales Training Manager

“The eLearning ahead of time makes the training so much more impactful.” East Region Field District Manager

Overall feedback from the division included:

“The division managers felt the new blended learning model was effective and efficient in terms of minimizing time away from the job yet still providing a thorough introduction to the new product feature and marketing services…They felt it was the proper balance between the eLearning self-paced intro and instructor lead follow-up and selling skills session.”

“The reps were much more prepared, EXCITED and ready to learn based on the eLearning module previous to training…This participation was excellent and showed that they had really taken a lot away from the eLearning modules.”

“Feedback given from the reps commented that they got a lot from the breakout Activities and was a great use of time. The reps had the opportunity to learn from one another, create great discovery questions, practice those questions and get feedback. This has helped with a fast start in North Carolina.”

“The eLearning tool allowed us to invest more time in the training for discovery, positioning, presenting, and handling objections. It is the first training that we really focused on how to incorporate the product into the sales process not investing as much time learning the product knowledge.”

“Reps seemed focused and ready to learn. It was almost like the eLearning put them in the right frame of mind for the facilitating.”

“Jane Doe (name changed for privacy) left the training class that morning and by the afternoon she had sold a reputation management. She contributes this to being able to wrap her mind around the verbiage and positioning the product within the sales call.”
